Dr Trivisonno offers psychiatric consultation services to mental health professionals
Consultation and Supervision services take the form of short telemedicine or phone consultations or extended one-on-one clinical supervision of psychotherapy or psychopharmacology cases.
Clinical supervision sessions with Dr Trivisonno apply to a clinician's requirement of clinical certification hours for the purpose of obtaining a license independently in the state of Washington. Currently, Dr Trivisonno is a mentor with Frontier University and offers mentorship rotations in psychiatry to Nurse practitioner students in training in the Western WASHINGTON STATE AREA.
Dr Trivisonno applies psycho-dynamic and cognitive techniques in a unique blend that distinguishes his personalized approach to patient care. This holistic philosophy emphasizes biological interventions in the context of conflict-resolution and intra-psychic and interpersonal change to the treatment of short and long-term psycho-pharmacological and psychotherapy cases.
Dr Trivisonno is trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapies with a Freudian and Lacanian orientation. He was supervised in Argentina and in the United States by psychoanalyst of different clinical orientations (Freudian, Lacanian, and Ego Psychology) during eight years of post-graduate psychiatric training. At the end of this long process of psychiatric and psycho-dynamic training, he became the recipient of the South Florida Psychoanalytic Award.
